Under the legislation all companies are subjects of anti-corruption efforts, which means that all companies are obliged to take measures to prevent corruption and to reduce the causes and conditions conducive to corruption offences.
At the same time the law specifically states that companies in the quasi-public sector shall designate structural units performing the functions of anti-corruption compliance services. Thus, quasi-public sector companies have an obligation to designate structural units with the functions of anti-corruption compliance services, while companies outside the quasi-public sector have the right to create anti-corruption compliance services.
