In 2018 a number of laws came into force in Kazakhstan that made significant changes to the country's tax legislation. The seminar will present brief information on the main requirements of Kazakhstani legislation that those doing business in Kazakhstan should take into account.

As a result of the seminar the participant will become familiar with:

  • — the current legislative framework on taxes and the taxation of enterprises, organisations and citizens
  • — the essence of taxes and the principles of the modern tax system of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  • — the specifics and possibilities of applying special tax regimes for small businesses and legal entities
  • — the rights and obligations of the taxpayer
  • — liability for violating tax legislation
  • — the structure of the tax service bodies
  • — methods of calculating the main types of taxes and levies
  • — calculating tax sanctions (late-payment interest, fines)
  • — the correct methods of applying tax incentives in taxation
  • — preparing certificates and preliminary calculations
  • — completing tax returns
